ERT 466/3 WASTE MANAGEMENT  

Course Synopsis:

This course covers the sources and properties of agricultural farm and agricultural related industries wasteand wastewater, and their effect on the environment. Also the physical, chemical and biological wasteand wastewater treatment and disposal. The waste characteristics and handling knowledge is included in the course. Last but not least, the organizational waste management design is also covered.

Course Outcomes:

Ability to analyze the properties ofwastes and their impact on theenvironment for sustainable development.
Ability to design physical, chemicaland biological treatment systems ofagricultural related industrial wasteand wastewater for sustainable environment.
Ability to propose themanagement solution and responsibility for different characteristics of solid and agricultural waste.
