ERT 352/3 FARM STRUCTURES
Course Synopsis:
This course covers planning, engineering design and analysis together with materials cost estimation of farm structures which include greenhouses, structures for livestock husbandry, water and soils conservation related structures, off-highway roads, and other agricultural structures. In depth analysis of structural design using timber, reinforce concrete, and steel will be performed.

Course Outcomes:
Ability to propose the farm structures and materials for layout planning and management.
Ability to design structural members using Eurocode 2 & Eurocode 3 by understanding the elements of professional and ethical responsibilities to community.
Ability to estimate cost of construction of biosystems structures by understanding the impact of environment and sustainability.
Ability to propose the structural elements analysis in design project related to biosystems activities/field.
